Race Info

What’s this all about?

Each Brutal run event is exactly 10km, and each will require mental toughness and and raw grit.

Our most savage of our events, The Brutal 10 is being organised in partnership with our resident ex-army PT instructor and 10-time winner of the Runners Need G3 series, Dave Rollins. It will be unquestionably 2012′s ultimate challenge with up to 7 events planned. There will also be a variety of new formats including 5k, 21k run’s and a Brutal Duathlon (run-bike-run.)

What to wear

Not your best shoes, but good tough shoes with good grip. Keep warm with maybe a buff head scarf, long sleeve top and shorts. Best to avoid being water logged so dress lightly! Bring a change of clothes. All the best kit and advice can be found at Fitstuff in Guildford.

Team entry

Enter a team of 4 to be entered into a separate category with it’s own bragging rights. A team comprises of 4 athletes of mixed gender. The combined time of all 4 athletes will determine your team placing. If you entered separately as solos you can group together to create a team on race day. Just report to the timing and registration tent.

Registration

Registration will open at 08:00. Collect everything on the day. Nothing will be posted in advance.

The Courses

Be warned: these events are going to be gruesome. It has steep hills, energy-sapping climbs and mud by the truckload. If pounding through the forests dripping with sweat and nursing aching limbs is your game, then these events are perfect for you. Let’s get it on!
